5-7-5 World Expo Haiku "Genkissu! Spirits Up! Hekinan World Wide Haiku Contest" 2009 - Aim and Purpose
We will collect haiku poems, expressed within 17 syllables of 5-7-5, to create an opportunity for heart to heart exchange beyond generations through haiku. - Format
3 lines roughly following the 5-7-5 syllables style of haiku in English (unpublished, and not currently under consideration for publication or entered in any other competition. Also each entrant is restricted to just one haiku per person on a form specified by the sponsor.). - Application Period
May 1st (Fri) - May 29th (Fri) 2009 - Theme

Open to all nationalities over the age of 6 - Application Fee
Free - Application Form and Presentation Place
Send an application on the specified form to Hekinan Tourism Association by mail or facsimile. And we will also hold a internet home page about this program. But we begin to receive Haiku from May 1st..Please wait a moment.

"Genkissu! Spirits Up! Hekinan"(summer dancing festival) is to be held on July 25(Sat), 2009. We will exhibit the Winning-a-prize Haiku there. and hold an awards ceremony for excellent haiku. - Others
